NOTES
To cold to fish inshore
Ashley Creek
Due to the cold water temperatures, inshore fishing was slow. We opted to move to near coastal waters where the bite was more productive. Near coastal fishing proved to be much more productive. My customers were able to land several good-sized black sea bass, flounder, and red porgy targeting bottom species.
While we didn't venture far offshore, the near coastal areas provided ample opportunity.
Live mud minnows werethe baits of choice for bottom fishing.
